Junior Ranger Program & Animals of Umstead

The Junior Ranger Program gives participants an opportunity to take a closer look at careers managing natural resources. Activities allow for closer examination of plants and wildlife found in state parks. Join a Park Ranger for an overview of the program and both activities from the program will be covered. Learn general information about the animals that call William B. Umstead State Park home. The Junior Ranger Program is recommended for children ages 6-12 and will require additional time to complete.
