Mantids are fascinating creatures and skillful predators, too. Stop by for a story following P. Mantis as she grows up and learns to navigate her new world. In her story, she stops for a snack or two (her own siblings - yuck!), dodges some predators, and lays eggs that will become baby mantises in the new season. With humorous text and beautiful paintings, Paul Meisel’s story teaches children all about the life cycle of a praying mantis.
