Learn To Fish

Join a park ranger to learn the basics of fishing and get a chance to practice your casting on Big Lake. You"ll also learn about the different types of freshwater fish that live in our park and hopefully get the chance to see some first hand. Bait and poles are provided but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Individuals over the age of 16 will need a state issued fishing license. This program will involve shoreline fishing only. Bring sunscreen and bug spray.
