FWS: Family Nature Journaling

Blue Jay Point County Park (Greenways, Trails)
Blue Jay Point County Park. Saturday, May 18th 10am-11:30am Ages 5+. Pre-registration is required.

Nature journaling is a great way to increase your observational skills and creative ideas while enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds us.  Participants will take a hike and then write in a blank journal some of their observations and feelings as well as draw a sketch of something they saw on the hike.  Bird, wildflower, tree, butterfly, and insect identification books will be available for reference and smart device photography may serve as sketching references.
This learning experience for ages 5 and up will be led by guest author, photographer, artist and educator Wende Essrow.  Pre-registration is required.
