Park Description
Located between the Piedmont and the Coastal Plain, Clemmons' pine stands and hardwoods are set on a pleasant rolling terrain highlighted by streams and rock formations.

These features are accessible by a series of well-marked trails, accented by exhibits and displays depicting the ecology of a managed forest.

Picnic Facilities Open picnic sites with tables and grills are available, as well as a spacious shelter complete with a massive stone fire place and plenty of seating. Reservations for the shelter are required.

Camping Primitive walk-in tent sites are available for overnight stays in the forest for groups of 10 or more. The sites have tent pads, pit toilets, and water. Reservations and a $25.00 refundable deposit are required for use of the camping area.

Hours of Operation: Mid-March to Mid-November: Closed Mondays, Tuesday-Friday 9:00-5:00. Saturday & Sunday 11:00-5:00 EST, 11:00-8:00 DST
