Park Description
Durant Nature Preserve is a 237-acre City of Raleigh Parkland, with trails (1.1 miles paved), rental facilities, and programs that beckons you to consider the possibilities and design a primer outing or event. Trails And Nature: Travel on five miles of hiking trails to scenic overlooks, along two lakes, through woodland wildflowers and fern gardens, and along a stream with unique rock features. Stop by the park office where friendly and knowledgeable staff can assist you in choosing a trail. Use our nature resource room to get information about the park flora or fauna. Trail maps, Trail of Trees map and Bird lists are available. Fees apply for the lodge and campsites
