by Pam & Michael Davison

Whether you are into the crisp cold air of winter or are waiting for the warm winds of spring to come, there is everything from winter wagon rides to tours of historic homes to keep your weekend fun!

ParkGeek.com is also on Facebook! Friend us and let us know where all your adventures take you while we keep you up to date on the latest and greatest events throughout the Triangle. The weekly newsletter is posted there as well as daily updates of fun things to do all week long.

Speaking of updates, this is the final weekend for both the Genghis Khan Exhibit at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and Rembrandt in America at the NC Museum of Art. Both special exhibits do have admission fees. The Genghis Khan Exhibit presents amazing insight through artifacts, time lines and maps of the Khan Family legacy. The Rembrandt Exhibit offers fascinating evidence to support and refute the identity of the artists that have painted many Rembrants. Both exhibits close on Sunday and the NC Art Museum has extended their hours for this final week.
