June 20th - June 26th 2013 Triangle

by Pam & Michael Davison

This weekend there are some fun festivals, several movies and a wide variety of concerts so no matter what you're in the mood for, we can get you out enjoying your summer weekend.

If you are looking for some yummy fresh food for your holiday picnics, don't forget all of our local farmer's markets. Thursday at lunchtime the State Farmes Market celebrates Blueberry Day with dessert samples, recipes and lots of fresh North Carolina blueberries. In addition to the State Farmer's Market which is open every day, just about every Triangle town has a municipal market. Right now the blueberries are in and the corn, tomatoes and summer squash are delicious! Just go to the Event Search on ParkGeek.com and type in Farmer's Markets and we will get you all the info on your local market.

This newsletter highlights mostly weekend events. There are also some great events listed on ParkGeek.com during the week. Now that you might have kids on summer vacation check out the Event Search at ParkGeek.com and put in the dates you are interested in. You can also "Like" ParkGeek on Facebook and get updates on daily events.
